One way to become popular is to provide lots of value, over time.
People find what you wrote, book mark, pass it on, spread, subscribe,
and over time your traffic grows geometrically.
Another is jibber jabber about all the popular things!
Talk about whatever's popular today, like
michelle mcnair, sahel kazemi, steve mcnair shooting,
ricketts family, patrick cudahy fire,
smart technologies s.a., panic at the disco breaking up,
michael jackson memorial service, bordure cycling,
OH!!! link to DISNEY MONORAIL ACCIDENT VIDEO,
robert mcnamara, ola ray lawsuit, jenna bush wedding dress...
and the only one interesting: codex sinaiticus online.
The worst way is a parked domain, domain squatters, or the typo-buyers.

They are the lowest!
They should be taken out and shot. I'm sure they try to justify to themselves that they are somehow "adding value, " but I couldn't live with myself.
Why weren't we smart enought to think of that?

is a second you are not clicking on them.
